Site Finders(SF) is committed to ensuring the confidentiality and security of individuals’ personal information.

Should personal information be provided to SF, we are are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (which can be found at www.oaic.gov.au).

An individual may visit the SF website without providing any personal information, the SF website does not use cookies.

When an individual emails SF, the email may contain personal information.  Any personal information collected will be managed in accordance with the Company’s general personal information management practices and will not be used or disclosed for any other purpose than for the purpose for which it was collected or any reasonable secondary purpose.

While reasonable steps are taken to protect all personal information collected and stored via the website, SF cannot guarantee the security data transmitted over the internet.

It is important that SF maintain contact with all its clients and prospective clients. That contact may involve the sending of marketing material through the post or by email to existing and potential customers. At this point clients or prospective clients will have the opportunity to ‘opt out’ of receiving any further marketing material from SF. If such a request is received by SF our records will be updated accordingly and within a “reasonable” time.  If a request is received to access or correct personal information held by SF, we will provide the necessary access or make the required changes within a “reasonable” time.
